New Passwords Required for Benefits Connection

Once the change goes into effect, the first time you log in to Benefits Connection a page will display with instructions on how to change your password. Once you've changed your password, you can log in to Benefits Connection using your new password. This new password policy complies with SAS 70 requirements, which are a series of professional standards that audit and assesses internal controls of service organizations. Organizations that comply with SAS 70 demonstrate that they have satisfactory controls and safeguards when hosting or processing sensitive information, such as protected health information.
