Patient Direct May Be Perfect Gift for Dads and
Grads
Looking for something special for Father’s Day or your
favorite graduate? Delta Dental Patient Direct could be just
the thing.
Delta Dental Patient Direct is a dental membership program
available to New Jersey residents without dental insurance.
Patient Direct can help improve access to dental care for
retirees, new graduates who no longer receive benefits under
their parents’ insurance, and others who do not have
company-sponsored dental benefits.
Members gain access to New Jersey dentists who limit their
fees to those in the Delta Dental Patient Direct fee schedule.
Patient Direct members pay the same negotiated fees as we pay
our Delta Dental PPO dentists. This is usually less than what
uninsured patients pay.
The Patient Direct program encourages people without dental
insurance to take charge of their oral health and visit their
dentist regularly. Routine care helps prevent serious dental
problems, and can contribute to overall health. Patient Direct
includes general services such as routine cleanings, fillings,
and x-rays, as well as crowns, root canals, gum treatments,
extractions, dentures, orthodontia, and cosmetic services.
Because this is not dental insurance, even treatment for
pre-existing dental conditions is subject to the fee schedule.
Patient Direct membership also includes savings on eye
exams, frames, lenses, and contact lenses through EyeMed
Vision Care.
Membership is $66 for individuals and $96 for families.
