Delta Dental of New Jersey proudly presents the Captain
Supertooth program for schools in New Jersey.
This program educates elementary school children
about the benefits of good oral hygiene.
Using a giant red toothbrush and the children as
teeth, Captain Supertooth educates children about:
- brushing
- flossing
- balanced diet
- visiting the dentist
Children in kindergarten through second grade may
attend the presentation, which is totally free of
charge. We provide this program to schools throughout
New Jersey and Connecticut as a public service during
Children's Dental Health Month (February).
The program normally lasts about 20 minutes and
can be tailored to fit a school's needs.
Since the program began in 1990, Captain Supertooth
has instructed more than 100,000 children about proper
dental care. Because of the demand for this program,
there is a waiting list. Teachers and school nurses
should send an e-mail to
place their school on the waiting list and, in the
meantime, we'll send you a free video or DVD. Please specify
either English or Spanish for the video, or English
for the DVD. |
