The Grant Approval Process

Our Foundation Board of Trustees meets three times a year.
At the September meeting our Board reviews the preliminary (Round One) grant applications for the upcoming year. Those applicants that are selected for further consideration are notified they will be moving to the next round (Round Two). Those applicants will be required to complete a more extensive grant application. Those applicants not selected will be so notified.
At the December meeting our Board reviews and awards the underserved and several education grants. All are notified of the outcome.
At the May meeting our Board reviews and awards the remaining education grants. All are notified of the outcome.
Applications received after the submission deadlines will not be reviewed by the Foundation Board.

While many grant applicants are return grantees, the Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation encourages organizations and/or schools that have never applied for funding (and meet the Requirements of Grantees), to apply. The Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation is always looking to expand its outreach.
