Sr. Informatics Analyst

Department: Informatics 

Summary: The Senior Informatics Analyst will provide advanced consultative analytical support to customers on various projects; conduct complex ad hoc analysis as directed by management. Independently design and/or implement inferential data modeling techniques, solve business problems through analysis and communicate the outcomes of analysis to business owners and senior management.

Requirements: The position requires a bachelor’s degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, quantitative social science, computer science, math, statistics, or finance and 5 year of data management experience analyzing large data sets in a business environment. If no degree, 7 years of data management experience and analyzing large data sets in a business environment. Extensive experience in a data warehousing, report design/delivery environment and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) tool suites including, but not limited to SAS, Crystal Reports and Business Objects. Experience in a clinical environment or healthcare/insurance industry or prior project management experience is preferred. Evidence of independent research, and analytical, problem solving skills along with advanced programming in SAS (Base, Stat, Graph, EG, JMP) / SQL Query Construction) or other programming language is also preferred.

Team Leader

Department: Claims 

Requirements: This position is responsible for assisting in the supervision and coordination of the day-to-day operations of the claims processing team. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President, Claims. 
The Team Leader will lead 11-15 Claims Examiners. The Team Leader should possess proven supervisory/leadership abilities. A high level of organizational/analytical and reasoning skills are necessary to succeed in this position. A strong claims processing background is desired. Dental Assistant education/experience a plus. Knowledge of PC and claims processing applications along with Word and Excel software will be necessary. Excellent oral/written communication skills are required.

Programmer Analyst

Department: Information Services 

Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position requires an associate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and/or 2-3 years of relevant experience. Healthcare or other relevant industry experience is preferred. The candidate must be highly organized and be able to handle multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Additionally, the candidate must be detailed oriented and strive in a team environment. Proven problem solving, decision making, negotiation and analytical skills are a must. Experience using Microsoft SQL Server is required. Experience with Visual Basic/MS .Net technology, Web Services, SAP’s Business Objects/Crystal Reports suites, and the HP Quality Center Suite products would be beneficial. 

Summary: This position develops Operational and Ad-hoc Reports, participates in Data Governance efforts and also participates as a team member in programming maintenance and/or enhancement of projects as required.
